Plant City's Most Instagrammable Spots

Where to snap the best photos around town

4 min read

Plant City is packed with photo-worthy backdrops. From historic architecture to strawberry murals, here's where to get that perfect shot — whether it's for the 'gram, family portraits, or engagement photos.

1

McCall Park Fountain & Gazebo

100 E Reynolds St, Downtown

The most recognizable spot in downtown Plant City. The historic fountain, white gazebo, and surrounding live oaks create a classic Southern backdrop. Best shot: golden hour (5–6:30pm) when the sun filters through the oaks. During December, the gazebo gets decked out in holiday lights — magical at night.

2

Strawberry Murals Downtown

Various locations, Downtown Plant City

Scattered across downtown buildings, these giant strawberry murals are pure Plant City. The most popular is on the side of the Collins Street Junction building — a lush, oversized berry with bright green leaves that pops against the brick wall. There are at least three others within a block. Make it a scavenger hunt!

3

Historic Downtown Brick Buildings

Reynolds, Collins & Baker Streets

The century-old brick storefronts along Reynolds and Collins Streets are a photographer's dream. Warm brick tones, vintage signage, wrought-iron details — it feels like stepping back in time. The corner of Reynolds & Baker at golden hour is especially beautiful. Pro photographers love the textured walls and shaded sidewalks for portrait work.

Krazy Kup Interior

102 E Baker St

The eclectic interior of Krazy Kup is its own photo destination. Local art on exposed brick, cozy mismatched furniture, and the warm glow of the coffee bar make for intimate, atmospheric shots. Best captured mid-morning when natural light pours through the front windows.

5

Edward Medard Conservation Park

6140 Turkey Creek Rd

For nature shots, the reservoir at Edward Medard delivers wide, reflective water views with cypress trees draped in Spanish moss. The boardwalk trail is especially photogenic in the morning mist. Great for engagement shoots if you want an outdoorsy Florida feel without driving to the coast.

6

Strawberry Fields at Sunset

Surrounding farmland, Plant City

You can't leave Plant City without a strawberry field photo. During the growing season (December–March), the fields surrounding town stretch in neat green rows dotted with red berries. A sunset drive on back roads like Trapnell or McIntosh will get you the perfect shot. Pull over safely and respect private property — many farmers are fine with photos from the road edge.
